Medicare Rebates and Bulk Billing 

At Sydney Dietetics Clinic, we are committed to providing accessible and affordable healthcare services to our patients. As part of our commitment to promoting health and well-being, we offer bulk billing options to eligible patients.

Bulk billing is available to patients who meet specific eligibility criteria as determined by Medicare guidelines. Medicare provides up to 5 rebated sessions for visits to Accredited Practising Dietitians, when being treated for a chronic health condition, and are under an approved care plan coordinated by a General Practitioner (GP). Check with your GP to see if you are eligible to receive these rebated sessions. Patients eligible for bulk billing must provide a valid referral from their GP. Referrals must be emailed through to Sydney Dietetics Clinic at sydneydieteticsclinic@gmail.com.

Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) Rebates 

At Sydney Dietetics Clinic, we accept DVA Health Cards (Gold and White). Check with your GP to see if you are eligible to receive this rebate. Referrals must be emailed through to Sydney Dietetics Clinic at sydneydieteticsclinic@gmail.com.

Private Health Insurance Rebates

Most private health funds provide rebates for visits to all Allied Health Practitioners. The amount you receive back varies depending on the Private health fund you are with and your coverage level. To find out more, refer your enquiries to your Private Health Fund.
